OPP is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by Sister
Maria Francis who served Portland's homeless for over 20 years.
The organization serves the homeless in a way no other
homeless service organization does. Everyday, staff and volunteers
walk the streets of downtown Portland meeting with the homeless in parks,
sidewalks and under bridges and distributing items of basic need. Whether
it is warm clothes, over the counter medications, food or
several other things, we provide the homeless with items that meet
their most immediate need.

and the passion we have to serve.
